Innovation- Trash Can Liner Retainer
Problem
We all have been here. You put the trash can liner into the can and it’s too big. So, you fold it over and hope for the best. Then the first time you throw an apple core in the can, the apple hits the bottom of the can pulling the remainder of the bag into the can. Them you have to reach in and fish it out only to fold it over until the next time.
Trash bags are made to fit loose. Otherwise, you couldn’t pull them down over the rim of the can. What if you could make every can liner fit every can? (You know there’s an answer coming here…)
Solution
Just loop several rubber bands around one another and fasten the two ends with a paperclip. That’s it!
When the rubber bands get old and break, you’re not far from the trash can, throw them in and grab a few more rubber bands and Voila!
That’s Wa-La to everyone who doesn’t read French, meaning “There it is!” :o)
